Pass the Egg Nog

Happy Eggnog season everyone! It's Linda McClain, back with an egg-citing Winter project for you. (Sorry, I can never resist a good pun - but that's eggstactly what you'd eggspect from me.)

You're in for some real treats from the CutCardStock design team this month - especially if you like winter, snow-themed projects. Oooo, and shiny shimmery card stock. That's because the Stardream Metallic Card Stock is on sale for 10% off this month.

I'm always on the look out for things I can alter with my paper crafts. I usually hit pay dirt at the flea markets, but this time I found some fun juice bottles and mold jars at Williams-Sonoma just begging to be decorated for Christmas.

How fun it's going to be to drink egg nog from this.

With cinnamon stirring sticks . . .

And, because I never drink alone, I decorated a whole set of six milk bottles.

I used a snowflake doily die cut to create the felt wrap arounds and tied it all together with some bakers' twine. I stamped the Winter Wonderland and Snowflake center with red and blue ink onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White card stock and popped up the snowflake center with 3D Double Sided Foam Tab Adhesive. A smooth card stock like the Neenah gives you the best results with a solid stamp like this one.

That's it for me. Grab some nog and come say hey to me at Catered Crop. I'll be egg-specting you.
