Invitation Files by Jamie Cripps

Hello CutCardStock fans!
Jamie back and today I am sharing several of my new invitation sets that can be found in my Silhouette Store.  I receive a lot of emails requesting invitation files from all of the do-it-yourself party and wedding planners out there and they always come with the question of "what is your favorite paper to use?"...and that is a trick question!  I love all types of paper and I have a long list of favorites and they change depending on the project I am creating.

For my regular paper crafting, I like to use Basis 80# Cardstock.  This cardstock has a great weight to it and the colors are really vibrant.  It also loves most any glue I toss at it and it cuts really, really well on my digital die cutting machine.  It also holds up really well for my 3D storage projects!  For more elegant projects like special cards and invitations...even flowers, I love to use Curious Metallic and Stardream Cardstocks.  These are heavy and rich and they also provide an amazing shimmer!  They are really wedding quality, the look and the feel...and yes, they do cut beautifully with my digital die cutting machine!  For printing items, like inside card mats and invitation pieces my favorite is the Neenah Classic Linen Collection as well as the Royal Sundance Collection both in 80# cover weight.  These both have texture and both work well with my HP printer and they look fabulous in all types of projects from general cards to wedding invitations!

Okay so back to my invitations!

I have two new Petal Invitations sets, first up is my Rectangle Petal Invitation Set comes with the petal fold card base, a large mat for color, and a mat to store the invitation details.  The petal fold card base wraps within itself to house the invitation or you can place the entire thing into a standard A2 Envelope (4-3/8” x 5-3/4”) for mailing.  The inside mats are approximately 3-1/2” x 5” and 3-1/4” x 4-1/2”.  The file is compatible with both the 12x12 and 8x12 mats.
For this invitation I used the following papers:

My next one is a little more elegant and detailed.
