Holiday Countdown Series - Day 7

Design Team alumni Lee Ann joins us again and is sharing a special bonus project with us today that serves as both a decoration and gift!

The base of the pine cone is a styrofoam egg.  The cardstock was stamped with a fluorish image in white craft ink onto Flavours Gourmet Moroccan Cocoa cardstock, and then cut into 1" x 1" pieces.  Each piece was folded on one side to make a point.  Starting from the bottom of the egg, the folded pieces were attached to the egg with straight pins ( I used the shortest ones I could find).

This project could be made using various colors of cardstock. Imagine how pretty it would look with Caramel Glitter paper!
