Snowy Greeting Cards

Hello there CutCardStock fans!! It's Kristie here sharing with you a little flurry of snowflake action for your holiday season. For today's post I was slotted to do something with a snowflake theme using the Stardream Metallic papers. And in true Kristie fashion, I just couldn't decide what to do so I just make a bunch of different things. So, when I say "flurry" I MEAN it!

Let's start with this little snowflake card. Now you may remember my last post here on the blog. I had all of these glorious die cut snowflakes and I wanted to use up the rest of my stash. I am a firm believer in using things up, especially when they are this pretty! And once they are already cut you need to use them on something, like this:

I chose some white Stardream Metallic paper for my card stock base and then laid out the blue Stardream Metallic snowflakes across my card front.

Once I found the layout I liked I glued them all down with Glossy accents and trimmed off the sides. I then added my sentiment and focal point. I added some rainstones for a finishing touch.

Next up is another snowflake card. I had this die cut panel that I wanted to make into my focal point. This Stardream Metallic paper looks amazing when it is layered together. That is just double metallic goodness!

I added a simple sentiment and then popped it up on my Stardream Metallic card base. I love these papers because they go really great with adhesive pearls. And I still have quite a stash of them so it was good to use some up.

Lastly I made up this little gable box that is a perfect fit for those Ghirardelli chocolate squares that I love to buy during the holidays.

I die cut my two panels using the Stardream Metallic in silver. This paper is AMAZING! There is such a wonderful shimmer to these and they look so stunning in the light. It's a feast for the eyes!

This little baby pulled together fast. It's just the right thing to make during the holidays because it doesn't take too much time out of your already busy schedule.

I layered two snowflakes and popped up my banner. I added some CutCardStock ribbon that is gorgeous too.

And that's it for my snow flurries! Thanks for joining me today, and sharing with me in these projects. Have you checked out the store yet? There is a special going on for all the Stardream Metallic papers, as well as white cardstock! Two items I know everyone needs!

Thanks for your visit. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!

xoxo
