Hello wonderful card stock fans!  It is Lisa Lahiff here with you today and with summer beating down on us here in Ohio I couldn't help but feel like having a little fun, while cooling down with some drinks...

Supplies Needed:
Fun in the Sun 6" x 6" paper pad by Pebbles
Startdream Metallic Cardstock in Silver
Bright Foil Card Stock in Gold
Cricut® Machine
Cricut® Cartridges Simply Charmed and Create A Critter
Scissors
Adhesive: Tombow Mono Liquid Glue and Score-tape
Straws (Paper straws work best)

Instructions:


1. First you will want to pick the patterns from your paper pad that you want to work with.



2.  Choose your images/sentiments that you want to cut out, and cut them out with the Gold foil.  You will then trim your patterned papers into 11/4" x 3" strips, and your silver card stock into 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" strips.


3. Next you will trim the ends of each strip to make mini pennants/banners, and adhere your cuts onto the pennants.



4.  To adhere the pennants onto your straws use score-tape.  One strip on either side of the straw roughly the height of your pennant.  You will then roll the flat side around the straw, and press firmly so that the adhesive holds.  And now you're ready to party!!!

(love)
