Flowers for a Friend

Flowers that don't wilt are the best kind to give to a friend. Sometimes you just need at card to say I am thinking of you.

I started with my favorite Pop-Tone Cardstock. I used Hot Fudge for the flower pot, a label and the flower centers, Sno Cone for the background, Gumdrop Green for the grass and stems, Lemon Drop for the flowers and Whip Cream for the other label. The dies are all from Karen Burniston new dies.

I inked the edges of the flowers with Wild Honey Distress Ink and the stems with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. Then I layered the flowers and added the Hot Fudge centers.

I stamped the sentiment on the Whip Cream label and layered it with the Hot Fudge label.

I layered card base with the Sno Cone for the background and the Gumdrop Green Grass. I assembled the flower pot and placed it in the grass.

I arranged the stems and flowers in the pot.

Inside I added the labels and added one more flower.  Now it is ready to send to a special friend.
