Don't you just smell the fall in the air? People are craving everything pumpkin and I am feeling the need to make fall cards. It's the perfect time to get started...as orange, brown and gold card stock are on sale this month at CutCardStock.com. YAY! Another interesting little tidbit...I was able to do water color stamping on the Basis white 110lb card stock and it worked great-it's heavy duty and I had no pilling. Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann :)

**pan down for a detailed pictorial on how to make this card for yourself...and there is also a recipe list of all the products that I used
***click HERE to check out my blog Snappy Scraps and HERE to shop at the CutCardStock.com store

-First choose your paper products from CutCardStock.com-cut a 4.25x11" piece of Basis white coverstock and score in half to give you a vertical A2 size card...cut a stitched brown rectangle 4.25x5.5", cut a Basis white coverstock stitched Rectangle 4x5.25"
(ignore the orange...I changed my mind-lol)

-Next choose your stamps and dies...mine were all from Jaded Blossom
(ignore the fall dies-lol-changed my mind)

-mount your solid image leaf stamp on an acrylic block

-apply your distress inks from the center of the image out going light to dark

-mist the inked stamp with water and them stamp on  the white basis coverstock and bam-you get a lovely water colored look...I did this all over my back ground with different combinations of the Distress inks shown

-LOVE the look.

..I then dried my background with my Marvy Heat Tool

-I then dusted my background with EK Success powder tool and then stamped my lined image with Versamark and then applied my Princess gold embossing powder and heat set it with my Marvy Heat tool

-I then pulled out my Gansai Tambi water color set(36) and chose the gold and splattered this over my card panel

-I then grabbed some vellum and stamped and Heat embossed my sentiment using Versamark, Princess gold embossing powder and my Marvy heat tool...I then glued my card layers down using my ATG tape gun and then stapled my vellum sentiment to my card front...I just cut the vellum into a strip 1 1/2" and cut an angle at the end with my Fiskars paper trimmer
