Twist and Shout It's Almost Valentine's Day

Don't judge a card by its front cover. This card looks like a simple Valentine's Day card, but just wait until you see the inside.

I started with 2 pieces of Astrobright Cardstock. One piece of Pulsar Pink cut 5" x 11" and one piece of Re-Entry Red cut to 4.5" x 10.25".

Then using the Karen Burniston's Twist Panel Pop-Up (and following her directions) I die cut the Re-Entry Red base. I also scored and folded the Pulsar Pink in half.

Next using the dies, I cut the all the needed pieces and parts. I also cut additional layers for the front (stripped 4.5" x 5) and inside (2 XO's 4" x 4.125") using paper from my stash.

Now the fun begins.

I began to assemble the card. I started with the inside layer and the action pieces.

I added the pink layer to hide the action pieces from the outside.

Now I added the decorative pieces.

I can't decide who is going to get this extra special card for Valentine's Day. I may need to make a few more to give to the special people in my life.

Thanks for stopping by.
