Sympathy Card with Matching Envelope

Have you ever felt that sympathy card is the hardest type of card to make? It is the toughest type for me. One of my friends' sister passed away recently, I hope my card could bring him comfort. I thought about using black cardstock initially, but felt that it is too heavy. So I chose this dark grey Curious Metallic Ionized cardstock. And it is so great that there is a matching envelope with the same color available.

First, cut the intricate layers. The white cardstock used here is  Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Then heat emboss "heartfelt" on to the Curious Metallic Ionized cardstock.

Heat emboss the flowers and leaves for decorations.

Die cut the sentiment and assemble everything on the card front. The card base used is Basis 110LB White Cardstock. Its heavy weight is great to support the card.

For inside the card, heat emboss the sentiment in silver and punch the borders to make it not so dull.

Need a little extra for the envelope. Leaves represent life and hope. Hopefully the recipient could feel that there are people who care about him, who are there for him during the difficult time.
